On 4 April 2012 the Focus Group Meeting with women small and medium entrepreneurs (SME), organised by NGO “League of Professional Women” (LPW) in Kyiv, Ukraine took place. 9 businesswomen from Central, Western and Eastern parts of Ukraine (three pilot regions – Kyiv, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk) - LPW members and partners took part in the focus group’s meeting.
Within the framework of East Invest Project Ukrainian NGO League of Professional Professional Women (LPW) set up twinning with two EU partners: Siauliai. Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (SCCIC), Lithuania and Formaper - Milan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Handicraft and Agriculture, Italy.

The Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF4) came to a close on Dec.1st 2011 and although some observers describe the event as a turning point for international development, the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) taking part in the negotiations were slightly unsatisfied.

Since the last High Level Forum in Accra, more than 20,000 civil society organisations (CSOs) - including trade unions, women’s groups, youth groups, faith-based organisations and other social movements - in more than 90 countries, have been consulted on the process, agenda and expected outcomes of the Fourth High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness (HLF-4) that is meeting here in Busan.
