Nataliia Martynenko, the League of Professional Women (LPW) Board member, participated in the EU-funded East Invest Project`s B2 – BSO Twinnings Kick-off Conference that took place on 26-27 January 2012, in Istanbul. East Invest is a regional investment and trade facilitation project of EUROCHAMBERS for the economic development of the Eastern Neighborhood region, launched in the framework of the European Eastern Partnership initiative. It targets Business support organisations and SMEs from the 6 Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine), who have potential for developing mutual cooperation and investment relations with the European Union. http://www.east-invest.eu/
The conference brought together about 40 participants from the EU and Eastern partnership countries and Turkey – which represented 15 Twinnings that will be implemented within the framework of East Invest Project.

Inga Medzidoviene, Head of International Affairs and Business Development Department Siauliai Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, representative of the Lead partner of the twinning and Nataliia Martynenko, LPW Board member, presented the twinning Project “Building capacities and twinning cooperation for effective support to women entrepreneurs, in the framework of the East Invest Programme”. Project duration is 12 months, with starting in the end of the January 2012.
