LPW Launched the Initiative Group on Supporting Women Entrepreneurship in Ukraine

In January 2013 Ukrainian NGO League of Professional Women (LPW) launched the Initiative Group on Supporting Women Entrepreneurship in Ukraine, which in January 19 held its first Skype meeting. The moderator of the meeting was Olena Lazorenko, LPW President. During the meeting, participants discussed strategic communications and issues for further work. LPW came up with the idea to set up initial group on supporting women- entrepreneurs in Ukraine to potentially develop it into the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) in Ukraine, similar to some Eastern European countries.

The idea of established of the initial group following the meetings at the Global Entrepreneurship Week held in Brussels, Belguim (see more at http://lpw.org.ua/en/news/?pid=618)

The initial group will be composed of 3-5 persons to represent the LPW as an a) NGO and civil society sector, b) corporate sector, c)women-entrepreneurs, mainly SME, d)interested governmental bodies and international organizations. The LPW is open to financial proposals regarding this initiative, starting communication on this subject with interested party. For contact lpw.network(at)gmail.com.
