Dr. Olena Lazorenko is Ukrainian scholar and non-government organization leader. She holds the position of Senior Researcher at the H. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and re-elected President of Ukrainian NGO “League of Professional Women” in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 2018 she co-founder Female Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Community under LPW. Olena also founded and ran a service on academic entrepreneurship for 16 years, which was sold to new owners in the spring 2017. In 2018-19, she conducted analytical research on adult learning policy in Ukraine and continuing advising support for the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine on this issue. Besides that, she author of the “Creative Social Actions” method, its field research done in 2009-2015 in Ukraine. In 2016, her research project application with this method received “Seal of Excellence” Certificate from European Commission.
She has a background in political and social sciences and management from Ukrainian and Western Universities as well as business trainer`s certifications from four international institutions.
Selected Awards: 1996 granted as IREX Scholar in Duke University, USA and in 2019 UIL Scholar in UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), Germany & several short-term fellowships to EU countries. “Seal of Excellence” Certificate, European Commission, 2016; Certificates “For Excellence in Research” from the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 2017 & Section of History, Philosophy and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 2018.
