The logo (designed by Maria Kostelnaya, Lviv), the mission and main tasks of the Community were presented during the event hosted by the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Ukraine (FPBAU) at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in Kyiv. Warm words of congratulations on the commencement of the activities of the Community were heard from Nina Chala, co-chairwomen of the Committee of Women's Entrepreneurs of the Kyiv CCI. According to Valentyna Legka, the LPW Board Member, the Community will become the successor to the LPW Initiative Group of Support Women's Entrepreneurship in Ukraine (founded in 2013). Winter of 2018 is a transition period for the Facebook group - “Women Entrepreneurship (WE) / Ƴíî÷å ϳäïðèºìíèöòâî” - to the Community as it`s communication platform. “Our goal is to unite different people for expanding the economic opportunities of women in Ukraine, facilitate the formation of a kind of an ecosystem to support women's business and intellectual activity in the country”, said Olena Lazorenko, the LPW President. – “Community will help to develop the entrepreneurial skills, services in the spheres of economics, science, culture, civil society and education, and also, I hope, will become an intellectual patronage for business”. To its members the Community will provide an opportunity to get individual online consultations, organization and participation in the creative social actions, online conferences on specific topics, opportunity to find service providers, receive expert support and intellectual advice. Traditional forms of business activity will also remain in the work area for users who are looking for additional innovative and social tools for their development. 63% of members of the Women's Entrepreneurship group on Facebook had expressed their wish to join the Community before its official launch. The guests of the event identified trends that could affect the Community's activities. Among them there are: the problem of developing women's professional skills, increasing the digital and financial integration of women, creating an ecosystem for supporting entrepreneurial and introspective forms of activities in the country. "It's for the first time in the twenty years of the LPW activity that the audience of the event we organized is equal — both men and women are present. It's great to see that men also support the development of women's economic opportunities," said Olena Lazorenko. The event continued with the discussion on the possibilities of the SheExports program to expand women's economic opportunities in Ukraine. That was described by Alina Sevastyuk, Program Manager for She Exports Export Promotion Office. After this discussion Rodion Kolyshko has presented the launch of a joint analytical study by the LPW and the Institute for Professional Qualifications leaders on "What the policy of adult learning in Ukraine should be?" The event ended with the traditional networking using the dynamic moderation techniques such as ranking, brainstorming in small groups and Brownian motion. As a bonus, participants of the event had the opportunity not only to communicate with each other, but also received small souvenirs (ingredients and a recipe for cosmetic mask of Cleopatra) from Olena Lazorenko.
