“Holland Days” in Kyiv: B2B LPW representatives took part in meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Mr Pieter Jan Wolthers, and managers of Dutch companies

Perspectives of cooperation between Ukraine and Holland were outlined during a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Mr Pieter Jan Wolthers, that took place on Wednesday, April 17, in Kyiv. Mr. Peter Walters highlighted the achievements of The Netherlands in agriculture, creative industry, a favorable fiscal climate etc. He also said that more than 250 Dutch companies have already successfully working in Ukraine in the fields of logistics, energy, chemical industry, IT technologies etc.

"Ukraine is interesting to Holland for several reasons: it has large consumer market, big territory suitable for agriculture, rich natural resources, relatively low cost of running business activities and highly qualified human capital. Ukraine also has high development potential in energy, agriculture and IT sector, "- said the Ambassador of the Netherlands. However, he stressed that the success of a business partnership between the two countries depends on improving the business climate in Ukraine, economic stability, low level of corruption, and the perspectives of signing the Association Agreement with the EU.

Participants from LPW B2B also had the opportunity to learn how to set up business with the Netherlands, meet CEO and representatives of Dutch companies such as Aegon, Clarus, Daxx, Larive, Raben Ukraine and TMF, which successfully work in Ukraine for more than a couple of years.
