Cultural Part:  An exhibition of glass art by Ivan Apollonov at Cultural Space "KalytaArtClub" (tour)

Networking:  Sharing of information on key current and future LPW initiatives: LPW’s report to the UN Global Compact and the new edition of the Charter, participation in the delegation to New York, the program WiB EBRD, new partnerships with the EU and Canadian organizations.

What is “creative social action”?

“Creative social action”,interpreted here as access to Culture-Lifelong Learning-Networking with focus on the target group(s), is academic concept of Dr.Olena Lazorenko. She is Senior Researcher at IP NAS of Ukraine, ICC MP and LPW President. Ukrainian non-government, non-profit organization “League of Professional Women” (LPW) which first (in Ukraine) took up her academic concept on creative social actions in a practical way, and by her leadership has organized and conducted this type of event since 2006. \

Examples of local creative social actions were: 2009 LPW Summer meeting in the form of a peer learning and culture trip “Creative Green Tour Kyiv-Chernigov-Kyiv”; 2011 Summer meeting in the form of a peer learning and culture trip “Fruit Tour”; 2013 in the form of a peer learning and culture workshop “Women Who Inspire” (jointly with KPMG Ukraine, ICC Ltd. and METRO Ukraine).More information about all of these actions is provided by LPW website http://lpw.org.ua/en/reports/
